I do not know why I'm posting this-sometimes though, you need to laugh...
The night Olivia was born, I woke up in Mom and Dad's bed, with Grandma with me. I asked her where they were, ( Iwas almost 4) and she told me. Then I could not find Anna, my first-ever baby doll. (and yes, I still have it:0). We looked Everywhere-kitchen, my room, extra room, basement, living room, bathroom,(well, I dont know about the bathroom), at like 3:00 in the night.!!! I went back to bed with no luck, laid myhead on the pillow, and Klunk! she was under the pillow. So, after a while, I got up, and I thought I saw a bear! lol. I remember telling Grandma, and she played along with me. She and I got on the floor- hands and knees- and "sneaked up on the bear" and by the way- it was a black bear!:) I finally got up close to the "bear" and turned on the light. DO YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS?
Prepare yourself- it is Scary! it was a clothes basket with clothes hanging out of it! REAL SCARY, huh? :) And then I went to bed- Grandma was relieved, I'm sure- she probably was thinking " maybe she has down syndrome- and the doctor's did not detect it?"
Then I went to the Hopital to see Olivia- and Mom gave me something that she said was Olivia's present to me. ( a mickey mouse plate, bowl, cup, and flatware.)
I thought (and I actually thought this!) " mom had this in her tummy with Olivia?"

I always laugh when I think of this story. You probably do not believe this-I do not blame you- But at least me and Grandma knows it is completely true- If you liked this one, let me know if you want Ellie's story... :) (yes, I have a story for each of them, but Olivia's and Daniel's are the funniest- to me at least)

Oh yeah. Ash, you and I still laugh about the "bear" that we saw upstairs. And I still think about that night, and the fun that we had waiting for Dad to call and tell us whether you had a brother or a sister. We've sure had some good fun over the years since. Love you.
ReplyDeleteI remember that clothes basket bear. And you losing Anna. It was a pretty special night. See you soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!!!! Have a good time at Grandma Sharon's.
For Olivia's sake you should say you were 3 years and 9 months old. That almost 4 may send her over the edge. hahahehehahahehehahahehe :) :) :) :)
