Our Trip to Silver Dollar City

Alright, finally some SDC pics... belated SDC pics!!! IF you want to read the post in order, start from the bottom and go up.. (Christmas pics coming soon!!)

Night parade

huge cup this guy had!!!

Janae and Julia

Mom and Dad

Alyssa!!!

Judah and Janae were mad at each other, they sat on opposite sides, and would not even look at each other! I have a picture of them to prove it!!! ( The reason Judah was looking away is the same reason as Olivia and Lydia had their backs turned earlier. ;D But I do not know why the are sitting so far away from each other!!!!)

The Barn Swing! Iwasn't brave enough to go on the first day, but I did go the second day, and loved it! I went three times in a row, would have gone more, but my stomach was feeling a little queasy!!! The night view is awesome at Christmas time on this ride!!!

Walking into SDC the first day- Olivia and Lydia backs turned, Judah running away... from what???

Yes, I like to take pictures of the backof cars! You can make any picture a neat one!

The Howells van...

The icicles on the rocks...

The Ozarks are awesome! Amazing! Beautiful!!! That is like where my dream home would be...

The long road leading to Silver Dollar City=)

Jesus is the reason for the season? I think not....

Around this time of year, you see signs, bumper stickers, ornaments, and decor with this slogan on it. Most people will agree. But if you think about it, Jesus is not- you are. Why? How?

Let us take a look at John 3:16-17.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

' For God sent not his son to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Are you apart of the world and whosoever? Yes, you are, and I am too.

We would not celebrate Christmas- if Adam and Eve would not have sinned (read Genesis three.) As a result of his sin, God sent His son- to die for our sins. So that we can have eternal life. (Amazing love- really and truly- would you send your son to die for a murderer- so that the murderer could live? no human being ever has or ever will. Only God has done that!)
No, Jesus would of never came down to die- we would of never had Christmas ( or the slogan, Jesus is the reason for the season) had the world never sinned.
And since we did sin, are not you glad he sent his son for us? Otherwise we would all be heading to hell (yes, there is a hell.)
So forget the "Jesus is the reason for the season", for the biblical aspect is that "you are the reason for the season." ~

Update

Have not posted for a while! sorry!
Heres whats going on-
school :0
Yesterday my piano teacher invited several girls from church to come help with christmas decor at her house. We stayed 4-5 hours and it was lots of fun and laughs! The last hour or so we played Mennonite madness and ate monkey bread. She gave me this book on Christmas parties, how to host and plan. (makes me want to have one:) We set up year decoratoins, wrapped tons of presents (I know what Pastor is getting for christmas! haha hehe haha). We set up the tree, and its decor is patriotic! Some of the girls set up yard decor, some wreaths, etc.
It was so fun- been a long time since I spent time with friends.
Today, we did school, and Mom right now is cleaning and unpacking boxes in the basement. She is not feeling up to pear, though. We can not seem to get over that 1 bout of sickness!!
