Kinda odd looking, but this is when we first started out.
All smiles... until the reality of a 12 1/2 hour trip sinks in.
They do things different in Texas... and they do things smarter too. If I had to ever move out of Illinois, and could move anywhere in the states, I'd move to Texas. Especially if I was eighteen. (They have open carry laws- I'd get me one!=D)

I like this city! On the map, it looks small, but its about as big as Springfield! (Well, I guess that's not saying much!)

Helping with the tent. We had two tents and one gazebo. One tent was 10' by 16' and the other was 16' by 20'. (I think.)

I told Jinger, "My Pastor has been to your house a couple times." Then I told her who my pastor was, and she said, "He's your Pastor?! Neat! He's one of my favorite Pastors!"

ReplyDeleteDaniel and Ellie might... their teacher for Childrens Institute was their oldest daughter, Jana. Dad had to sign waivers(sp?) saying that he didn't care if they were on the show.
So yes... WE might...Probably when they show them pulling in the campground you'll see uour tent. Cool.

Awesome about staying by the Duggars! I hope that we can meet them someday. :) That would be cool! Actually, when I worked in Arkansas last summer, one of the Bishop ladies said we should take a group of girls and go visit them some day. A lady that I am making a swimsuit for has actually been to their house. Sweet!
